The POP Production
Director of Marketing
The POP! Production is an immersive live arts production that first took place in Bloomington, Indiana during the spring of 2025.
As Director of Marketing, I created and oversaw the entirety of the marketing campaign over the course of six months. Mixing together static, short-form video and sponsored content, I drove over 140K profile views across the Indianapolis, Chicago and Louisville regions. This content also drew over $2000 in ticket sales, selling out both shows. Check out the content highlights below:
POP. DANCE. ART. FILM. GAMES. MUSIC.
POP. DANCE. ART. FILM. GAMES. MUSIC.
The New York Times Games are a requirement each morning when Iām visiting my mom. Even when I was away at college, I would play these games, sometimes during lectures and text her my results.
Using Adobe Photoshop and Canva, I would create a new NYT-inspired puzzle every Wednesday, (dubbed POP Quiz Wednesdays) hinting at themes of the production. These posts drew engagement amongst our audience and built up anticipation for the upcoming performance.
Attending rehearsals for the POP! was an extremely rewarding experience because I got to watch the dancers learn how to perform with one another as well as perform with the various musicians in the production. This was fun to film as no rehearsal was like the last.
Utilizing CapCut for short-form video content and Adobe Photoshop to edit the static content, I created engaging and fun creative material to showcase the highlights of POP! cast and crew.
With a little help from sponsors, daunting tasks like putting on a live production can be made more attainable.
I put my Canva and Photoshop design skills to the test yet again with two brands: The POP! Production and various Bloomington small businesses. By putting them into an advertisement together, I promoted both businesses at once.
It was great building professional relationships with Bloomington staples and getting creative in my messaging to new audiences: Bloomington locals.
